Overall, the UK imported the largest amount of tea by a significant margin, while Germany had the highest coffee import quantity among the four countries. It is also noticeable that Canada and the US showed very similar import patterns for both beverages, with coffee imports doubling tea imports in both countries.

In detail, UK tea imports reached 80,000 tonnes, far exceeding those of Germany (41,000 tonnes), the US (21,000 tonnes) and Canada (20,000 tonnes), which all had much lower tea import levels. However, the UK’s coffee imports stood at 30,000 tonnes, the lowest figure for coffee among the four nations.

By contrast, Germany imported the most coffee, at 50,000 tonnes, followed closely by the US and Canada, both of which imported around 40,000 tonnes of coffee. Both the US and Canada imported roughly 20,000 tonnes of tea, less than half of their coffee import volumes.
