The charts below show the results of a survey conducted by a university library to find out the opinions of full time and part time students about its services.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The four pie charts compare full-time and part-time university students’ satisfaction with two library services: IT support and current opening hours.
Overall, opening hours received far more positive feedback from both student groups than IT support. While full-time students were much more satisfied with IT support than their part-time peers, the vast majority of both cohorts were very happy with the library’s opening hours.
For IT support, 55% of full-time students reported being very happy, compared to just 20% of part-time students. By contrast, nearly half (45%) of part-time students were not at all satisfied with this service, a figure over three times higher than the 13% of full-time students who felt the same. The share of students who were quite happy was similar for the two groups, at 32% for full-time and 35% for part-time students.
Turning to opening hours, high satisfaction was seen across both groups: 67% of full-time and 72% of part-time students were very happy with the schedule. Only 1% of full-time and 5% of part-time students expressed no satisfaction at all, while the remaining 32% of full-time and 23% of part-time students were quite content with the hours.
